Gigantoonz is a Play’n GO video slot that continues their toonz saga. We’ve had plenty of these slots and we’ve reviewed most of them positively.
Will history repeat itself again, or will we have harsh words for the new release? Let’s find out!
The playing board offers 8 reels, 8 rows, and a Cluster Pays system. That’s how grid-based slots work most of the time.
The volatility is high, with a 4,000x jackpot. Nothing record-breaking, but ample enough. As always, you can also play for free if you want to, just to test things out.
The betting range of Gigantoonz starts at $0.20. The most you can go for is $100, on the other hand. If you do the math, this amounts to a $400,000 jackpot.
Can US players play Gigantooz with real cash? No, they cannot, sorry. Play’n GO does not make its slots available to the top casinos online in the USA.
The base theoretical RTP of Gigantoonz is 96.25%. A rock-solid value, but there are RTP ranges. That means that some online casinos go lower.
All the other RTP values are lower, sometimes even by a lot. The other RTP values are 94.25% and even 84.25%.
Have a look at the slot’s paytable for the best RTP before you play
Visually, Gigantoonz is a fun-packed slot with bright symbols and graphics. The symbols are exactly what you’d expect.
They all depict funny little critters with googly eyes. Those are sweet to look at, so we like them.
The trick is that the high-paying symbols have two eyes instead of just one. For a large cluster of those, you can get up to 1,250x your bet.
The cascades exist in Gigantoonz, which means that winning chains are possible. Whenever you get a win, you’ll get your winning symbols removed and replaced with new ones.
This can then lead to new payouts and more Cascades. It all goes on until there are no combos on the playing board.
Mega symbols occur frequently in Gigantoonz in different sizes of up to 7×7. Their cluster values take place randomly and the max is 13.
When the game’s engine removes a Mega Symbol via a Cascade, it leaves a Wild behind. Even better, when it can’t drop down, it will fill the reels below with matching symbols!
On any losing spin, the Quantum Wilds Feature can pop up at random. When it does, you’ll get between 5 and 10 Quantum Wilds.
All winning symbols fill the Quantumeter, with Mega symbols being worth their randomized values.
The Quantumeter goes to up to 100 and you’ll get modifiers when you reach certain milestones. Get 25 symbols and you’ll trigger the Disintegration modifier.
This will remove up to 4 sets of symbols from the field. The Metamorphosis modifier triggers with 50 symbols and includes symbol transformations.
For 75 symbols, you’ll get up to 4 Mega symbols and 5 Quantum Wilds.
When you get 100 symbols, you’ll get a two-step modifier. First, all Mega symbols will turn into Mega Gargantoonz.
Then, the next step is that all these symbols break down into single Gargantoonz symbols.
Gigantoonz is a fine addition to the popular Play’n GO series. It has great gameplay features, fun visuals, and everything that makes online slots exciting.
The 4,000x jackpot isn’t massive, but it’s still a wd of cash. Even if the volatility is a bit on the higher side; you have to grind it out for the big wins.
As always with Play’n GO slots, though, you need to keep an eye out on variable RTPs.
Different online casinos have slots with different RTPs. Only the base RTP value is worth the bother, you just shouldn’t spend time with the other ones.
For something much simpler, check out Play’n GO’s Tale of Kyubiko. It’s a 3×3 slot suitable for casual players. It has a simple gameplay and just two bonus rounds.
These all have something to do with Wilds, which can even move around and give you win multipliers.
There are no free spins, but the 2,250x jackpot is reasonable for the math model. Tale of Kyubiko is one of the best-looking 3×3 video slots on the market.
No going around it if you like Asian-themed slots, you need to see this one in action!
