Two things to check before you deposit. Have a Bitcoin address ready, because your win won’t come back as ETH. And look at the weekly cap: Slots Ninja, Cherry Jackpot, Casino Max and Spinfinity pay up to $4,000 a week, so a big win leaves in instalments. Slots Ninja and Roaring 21 also take the bonus off your balance when you cash out. Spinfinity’s 500% is for Bitcoin deposits only, so ETH won’t get it.

Mainnet Only: What About Base, Arbitrum and Optimism?

Send ETH on the main Ethereum network. None of these casinos lists a layer 2, and the ones that name a network all say mainnet.

  • Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv: “Ethereum (ETH) is only accepted on ERC-20 Network.” Bovada names Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, BSC and Optimism as networks it doesn’t support.
  • BetOnline and Super Slots: their crypto guides list “ETH – ERC20” among the networks enabled for deposits.
  • Red Dog: “The casino supports ERC20 network only.”
  • Wild Casino and the other 10: no network named, so read the network next to the deposit address before you send.

If your ETH sits on Base, Arbitrum or Optimism, move it to the main Ethereum network in your wallet or exchange first. An address that starts with 0x looks the same on all of them, so the address won’t warn you.

What Ethereum Costs to Move

Two costs: the network fee your wallet pays to send ETH, and any fee the casino takes on a payout.

  • Network fee (gas). Paid in ETH from your wallet when you deposit, and set by the Ethereum network, not the casino. It rises when the network is busy, so keep a little extra ETH in the wallet.
  • No casino fee: Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv charge nothing on an Ethereum payout.
  • Tiered fee: BetOnline and Super Slots charge $1.50 on a payout of $20 to $100, $5 on $1,000 to $5,000, and $22.50 at $250,000 or more.
  • Variable: Wild Casino lists its Ethereum fee as variable and doesn’t give a figure.

Does the ETH price matter? Less than you’d think. Your casino balance is kept in dollars: Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv change your coins to US dollars as they land, and BetOnline only accepts USD. If ETH rises after you deposit, your balance doesn’t. The price only counts before you deposit and after your payout reaches your wallet.

Cafe Casino’s crypto offer is for “deposits made with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc.” Bovada’s terms say its deposit bonuses are “only available by using accepted Crypto currencies”, and Ethereum is one. At Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv, a bet can’t go over 20% of your deposit while a bonus is on.

How to Deposit and Withdraw Ethereum at a Casino

  1. Check the casino pays out in ETH. Seven do. At the other 11, your win comes back as Bitcoin, so have a Bitcoin address ready.
  2. Copy a fresh deposit address. BetOnline says its crypto addresses “can only be used once per deposit”. Check the first and last few characters after you paste.
  3. Send on the main Ethereum network. Not Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or BNB Chain, even though the address looks the same.
  4. Send more than the minimum. 0.002 ETH at Bovada, Ignition, Cafe Casino and Slots.lv, $10 at Super Slots and BetOnline, $20 at Wild Casino. Leave room for gas.
  5. Bet your deposit once. BetOnline, Super Slots and Wild Casino say “All deposited funds must be wagered (rolled-over) 1x (one time) prior to withdrawal.”
  6. Withdraw inside the Ethereum limit, or switch to Bitcoin for a big win.
